  • Casey Allard - Instructor

    Casey, a certified Vinyasa yoga teacher since 2016, combines her rich background in dance and performing arts with a unique blend of grace and mindfulness in her classes.

    With a decade of experience teaching in NYC, she has instructed in afterschool programs, yoga studios, online platforms, and nursing homes. Currently pursuing a master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology, Casey also offers clinical and spiritual regression hypnosis as a board-certified hypnotist.

    Her extensive training in accessible yoga, trauma-informed yoga, and yoga for older adults ensures her classes are inclusive and supportive. With over 15 years of yoga practice, Casey brings deep experience and understanding to her students.

  • Valarie Murray - Instructor

    Valerie has taught a variety of fitness classes over the past 3 decades and has been leading yoga classes since 2011. Her teaching style has evolved over that time from simply leading a fitness-based yoga class to incorporating modifications to make yoga accessible to everybody in a friendly non-judgmental environment.

    A life-long learner, Valerie studied at the YogaLife Institute in Wayne PA and earned her 1000-hour yoga therapy certification in 2019, which qualifies her to apply holistic yoga techniques in therapeutic one on one sessions. Valerie has taught for many all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean as well as local fitness and yoga studios around the Newark, Delaware area. She enjoys meeting people where they are in their yoga journey and helping people find their preferred style of yoga and meditation techniques.

    Valerie leads an active, fun class with options for everyone. Her soothing yin endings and short meditations ensure you will leave feeling grounded, expansive, and refreshed.

  • Stacy LaMotta - Instructor

    Stacy’s life orbits around her devotion to yoga, wellness, and all definitions of fitness as they relate to mind, body, and spirit. For over 40 years, she has been helping people improve the quality of their lives through healthy living, stress management, and all kinds of movement/exercise. In addition to being a certified Yoga Instructor, Stacy is a Medical Exercise & Post-Rehab Specialist, an ISSA Personal Trainer, a ZUMBA teacher, a Healthy Living Coach, and a certified Pilates instructor.

    As a teacher, her rich history in movement and her matter-of-fact physical clarity are buoyed by her warm personality and her genuine love of teaching. Every time she speaks of fitness, she is reminded that life is meant to be full of smiles, peace, joy, and happiness. The energy she exudes while sharing her knowledge makes you happy you know her!

    Stacy developed a weight loss and better health program which led to a study proving that with her program, people could lose weight, get off medications, and enjoy life to the fullest. This program went on to be sold on television and helped thousands of people!

  • Larry Schmitt - Instructor

    I first discovered yoga while searching for relief from chronic low-back

    discomfort, primarily resulting from Scoliosis. With relief from pain in my own

    body, my passion for studying and practicing led me to becoming Yoga

    teacher, and after time a bodyworker.

    The teaching of my “Mindful Yoga” style includes an eclectic variety of yoga

    disciplines that is suitable for all levels of practice. Experiences will typically

    include: meditation on breath awareness, traditional Hatha Asanas mixed with

    moderately paced Vinyasa sequences, Thai yoga-style hands-on adjustments

    to promote optimum alignment as well as releasing muscle tension, Yin-style

    postures to create balance and space, and peaceful, musical relaxation.

    I received my Thai Bodywork certification from BodyMind Thai in 2019 and

    Hatha Yoga certification from Lotus Gardens Yoga in 2010.

    Chris Kelly is an accomplished Holistic Healer, Wellness Coach, Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, and Ayurveda Practitioner. She holds advanced certifications in these modalities, including ERYT-500, YACP, MMCP-500, Pranic Healing, and Reiki.

    Chris offers multiple pathways and wellness techniques to help her students and clients achieve "full-body" well-being, specifically honing in on the mind-body connection.

    Her passion for merging spirituality and science provides an accessible approach to timeless practices. Chris' classes, workshops, and retreats serve as heartfelt gateways, harmonizing best practices to facilitate a joy-filled and abundant life.

    In her Yoga classes and workshops, expect more than just poses. Chris infuses upbeat music, flowing sequences, peaceful restorative poses, insightful Dharma talks, and often teaches chanting played on the harmonium. Her classes and workshops are delivered with confidence, open-hearted awareness, and a contagious joy, leaving everyone with a smile.

    Trained under renowned mentors, including Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Shiva Rae, and Deborah Langley, Chris brings a wealth of wisdom cultivated through immersive study and practice, empowering individuals to find clarity and joy in their lives.

    Driven by her love for global exploration, Chris has traveled to India multiple times for training in yoga and healing modalities. She finds inspiration in diverse cultures and yoga traditions worldwide. Her commitment to learning and living joyously enhances her teachings, providing a holistic and enriching experience for her students.

  • PATTY CIANO - Owner

    Emmy Award Winner and Executive Producer and visionary founder behind Hiatus 24, a wellness lifestyle brand dedicated to nourishing the mind, body, and soul. As an Emmy Award Winning Executive Producer of The Doctors, Patty's decade-long immersion in the world of health and wellness ignited a personal transformation. Her journey, overcoming challenges like quitting smoking, losing weight, and battling breast cancer, inspired the creation of Hiatus24.

  • Maria Doucette - Instructor

    Maria started her yoga journey in high school to VHS tapes with Rodney Yee. 20 years later she found a deeper connection to her yoga practice. On many different levels. Teaching nearly a decade, she skillfully guides and creates a “safe” space for her students. From her knowledge of anatomy, her own experience with injuries, her classes are very alignment based. Maria’s classes are an expression of peaceful intensity she says “create your foundation, the strength and power will follow.” Maria's practice is deeply rooted in “Bhakt Yoga” the spiritual path. She expresses her loving devotion towards a personal god/self to see the divine in everything.
